Knots and Niggles was founded in 2017 and merged with Wellness Embodied Cairns Physiotherapy in 2021. The business has grown over the years, to meet increasing customer demand. Massage services and styles include dry needling and lymphatic drainage massage, pregnancy massage, remedial massage and hot stone massage.
Laura is originally from Spain. She has been living in Cairns for 5 years and has been a massage therapist for more than 3 years. Laura started in the beauty industry but soon wanted to learn more and have a deeper knowledge about the body and how to take care of it. In 2021 she studied remedial massage and since then she has continued her learning of new techniques. She offers clients a range of massage services and styles, including dry needling and lymphatic drainage massage, pregnancy massage and remedial massage. She also enjoys offering hot stone massage as she knows the physical benefits of it, as it can access the nerve system though the heat, helping the muscles to relax and fight stress.
Since childhood, Laura has been active in football and swimming, most recently she enjoys calisthenics and yoga. She is a great fan of music, dance and good food.
Please note: Laura works Tuesday – Wednesday – Thursday.

Loki hails from Far North Queensland, but has recently been in northern New South Wales on a journey of tethering a career towards body work and deeper mindful practices. He has been fortunate to have shared his offerings all along the East Coast, including breathwork events at a number of festivals and retreats.
Loki’s primary focus is to assist clients to gain balance, release, clarity and mobility; with an assertive, communicative, safe and intentional focus towards Bowen therapy treatments and breathwork facilitation.
Please note: Loki works Monday through to Friday.
The Wellness Embodied Team
Wellness Embodied was founded to promote healthy, pain free bodies, through physiotherapist-led holistic treatment including massage, naturopathy and sports physiology. The team is lead by owner Suzanne Rath. BSc. (Hons) Physiotherapy. MSC. Sport & Exercise Medicine. Craniosacral Therapist. Supported by a team of like-minded professionals.
As a team we all specialise in individualised and comprehensive assessment and treatment, with personalised treatment plans. Our team of trained professionals provide hands on therapy and evidence-based rehabilitation, in private treatment rooms. We pride ourselves on treating the person, not the body part.
